WHY IAPA?

Since a young age Zoe has always had a passion for helping others. Growing up with a brother on the spectrum, Zoe quickly became passionate about inclusion. She learned early on, that regardless of someone's background or ability, everyone deserves access to the same opportunities and she wanted to see this through in the dance community.

After a professional career in dance, Zoe found that her passion was not in the spotlight, but in helping others have their time on the stage. Through this realisation, she started IAPA

Zoe started her dance journey in South Australia before moving to Sydney to learn from the best of the best. In 2018, she completed her Diploma of Performing Arts at Brent Street and has trained in many genres of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, contemporary and pom for the last 17 years.

Zoe's professional dance career includes The Voice, Mardi Gras Parade for Cher, T20 Cricket test, and a long standing contract as a NRL Roosters cheerleader for 4 years. She has also performed in semi-pro musicals including 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'The Little Mermaid' with the Australian Youth Ballet. To add to her endeavours, this year Zoe has also signed with the Wiggles as a casual performer being Dorothy the Dinosaur in local shows around Sydney.

In 2019, Zoe found her love for teaching dance and soon after discovered she had a real passion for working with people with disabilities.

Her work as a support worker and dance teacher for Stellar Experiences, gave her incredible experience working with people of all abilities and she soon realised she had found her calling. In 2021 & 2022, Zoe completed the Perform Ability Instructor Training Program and her Cert IV in Disability.

Now, Zoe is so excited to bring her love of dance to more people living with a disability through IAPA.
